  • I'MM HEALTHY: We provide free life insurance and pay a minimum of 75% of the medical insurance. We offer free flu shots, and discounts from fitness centers and other wellness companies. Associates may access a teledoc number where they can call in without having to go to a physical office. We have a resource website where employees can read Tips of the Week. Topics examples for this year are: Staying healthy at work, dental health for children, managing holiday stress, etc. We celebrate stress free day.
  • I'MM TALENTED: Peer to peer recognitions are called IMMpressions, when individuals do something worth applauding from a great sale to helping a coworker, they receive an IMMpression. Five dollars are deposited into their payroll for each mention received.
  • I’MM HAPPY: Activities such as Ping Pong tournaments, bowling, birthday celebrations, women's day, sales person day, company picnics, among others are celebrated at least twice a month. Once a year we have a Motivational session , this year we had dinner and a conference with a Spanish book author and speaker. Company also buys concert, sports, or any other event tickets on behalf of the employees so they can enjoy more recreational activities with their friends and families. Tickets are at discounted rates and they can be deducted from payroll in up to 6 weeks.
  • I’MM INFORMED: We have a monthly meeting where all sites are connected at the same time. We review and share monthly results, go over next month objectives, meet new hires from all locations, etc. We have a weekly BulletIMM where we share news, promotions, birthdays and any relevant information from business to cultural. We have a wall chart in each location where everyone is free to post any news they want to share. Every 6 weeks, managers have a 1-1 with their teams to inform them about their performance. Associates can also request a 1-1 with the CEO if they want to share some business ideas.
  • I’MM CREATIVE: This program promotes laughing among associates and promoting creativity within the business with initiatives such as costume week, ugly sweater day, create your meme day, etc. There is also a major creative program in place, where associates from different levels, seniority and departments participate with a creative and strategic design studio to help transform business process and or implement new business ideas.
  • I’MM GIVING A HAND: Every time we have a donation to a school, non profit association, etc we invite the associate's partners (non employees) to participate. We do internal supply drives where we gather and deliver home supplies and items needed for employees' affected from natural disasters such as Hurricane Harvey. When there is a natural disaster, we are divided in teams and assigned different employees so we can make sure, in a short period of time, that everyone is safe and / or if someone needs help.
  • I'MM WEALTHY: Profit sharing and unlimited commission scheme for all sales reps are the most important components of this program. We promote an Ownership mentality program to foster employees' productivity.

How to Get Hired

We asked Latino Factor an IMM Company for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

During our recruitment process we search for people with possitive attitude, and willingness to grow personally and professionally, people who show either admiration or pride to the latino culture and that can match the company values . We are sure that people who live with passion in in their daily basis will provide an outstanding customer service and are perfect fit for our service spirit value.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

Those candidates who have a story of perseverance and commitment are definitely employees who can get our attention. However, we also look for people who show respect and/or pride to the latino heritage and are willing to share this pride and respect through their work. We think that small details make a big difference that's why we love to receive follow up thank you notes after our first interview is conducted or to know when candidates have done a previous research about the company. During the interview we pay attention to their manners, how collaborative and attentive they are. During the observance day we invite them to see a little bit of who we are, and we evaluate how they interact with our colaborators, if they paid attention to the explanations and how excited they seem to be during this experience.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

Sales Associates that want to improve the hispanic image, and that are willing to be part of a family who looks for  the access of latino products to every table among the US. We are incorporating Administrative Positions who will help us reach together the exponential growth we are looking for in 2019.

What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?

They can review our social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Webpage). They can apply at our offices where everyone would welcome them and provide all the information needed. Also, they can get information from our associates who are part of our family when they are executing their daily activities.
