Perks and Programs

We asked Insight Global, LLC to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Women’s Leadership Council (WLC: The goal of our Women’s Leadership Council is to empower, inspire, and develop our current and future female leaders as a supplement to other company processes and initiatives focused on leadership development. The WLC is comprised of 21 women in varying levels of leadership. Their primary goal is to create mentorship opportunities for women and to help elevate women in the workplace to leadership and executive positions. The WLC also strives to be a change agent by seeking feedback from women in the company and using it to make positive changes that benefit our female employees and better the company as a whole. For example, the WLC recently added a program whereby all new mothers receive a care package upon their return to work as a small token of Insight Global’s appreciation of their efforts.
  • Parental Leave Policy: After the formation of our Women’s Leadership Council, Insight Global implemented a new and improved parental leave policy. New mothers now get 12 full weeks of paid maternity leave, and a flexible schedule option to work one day from home per week until their child turns two is currently in the works. Additionally, the WLC drafted guidelines for mothers-to-be for the months leading up to leave so that our new mothers can rest assured that accounts will be in good hands while they are on leave. We added specific categories to address women in a multitude of roles so that all aspects of leave appropriately reflect each position, department, or area within Insight Global. It’s extremely important to us that all of our people are comfortable taking time off to start or grow their family, without having to worry about negative impacts or any barriers to career progression or compensation.
  • Annual Holiday Charity Drives: Although we hold annual service events on an office level, there are a few companywide organizations that we support each year in addition to local initiatives. In October, we support the Susan G. Komen foundation with a breast cancer awareness drive that lasts the entire month. In November, each office organizes a local food drive before Thanksgiving by collecting canned goods throughout the month. In December, our charitable efforts turn competitive as each office participates in a challenge to see who can make the largest donation to Toys for Tots. It’s also not uncommon for our people to collectively raise significant sums with a Go-Fund-Me page or other fundraisers to support our employees, family members, friends, or clients in need. For example, a recent Go-Fund-Me for one of our corporate employees was shared 622 times, which resulted in the drive exceeding its goal of $30,000 in just a few days!
  • Contest Trips: One of our 8 Core Principles is “Work Hard, Play Hard ,” and one of the most fun ways we get to reward our hardest working people is with our annual Contest Trip! In the past, the trip has been in the Dominican Republic, but this year we moved the trip to Cancun! Employees that hit the annual contest threshold are invited on an exclusive company trip. In addition to Insight Global covering the cost of the employees’ flight and hotel, employees get to take along a significant other. Everyone invited on this trip gets one free excursion for themselves and their significant other and receives a $200 credit that can be used for premium liquor, spa appointments, premium dining, or any activity of their choice.
  • ABCD Awards: The ABCD (Above and Beyond the Call of Duty) award is given on a quarterly basis to reward employees in our Corporate Office who truly live out the values of Insight Global by exhibiting a “whatever it takes” mentality, customer service focus and, of course, one of our 8 Core Principles: “Servant-Based Leadership.” Everyone is eligible to nominate any employee in the Corporate Office by explaining why they believe their nominee is deserving of the ABCD Award. At the end of each quarter, a voting committee consisting of Corporate Office Senior Leadership reviews the nominations and selects a winner. The winner of the ABCD Award wins round-trip airfare for two people to anywhere in the continental United States! On top of that, all nominations are shared with the Senior Leadership Team, so this is a fantastic way to give shout-outs to hard working colleagues.
  • Facebook Workplace: Since we have so many locations across North America, we wanted to find a way to bring our leadership and 10-year tenured employees together. Facebook Workplace is a business platform of Facebook that we use… strictly for fun! It’s filled with #TBTs, photos, videos, announcements, and shout outs. Our people post on here multiple times per week, and there are always some good laughs and conversations shared across our offices after each post. Facebook Workplace is a great way for our employees to reflect on the good times and appreciate the relationships they’ve built during their time at Insight Global.
  • 10-Year Club: When an employee has been with the company for 10 years, they are inducted into the “10-Year Club.” Members of the 10-Year Club are invited to join Facebook Workplace, receive a beautiful plaque with their name and career highlights (one to keep and one goes in the lobby at our headquarters on display for all to see), are seated front and center at all of our conferences or companywide events, attend a private dinner and party the day before each company conference, and for the rest of their time at Insight Global, they are invited to the annual Contest Trip where they are flown first class both ways with their significant other or spouse.
