Perks and Programs

We asked Insight Enterprises to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • In It Together Foundation: Insight In It Together Foundation is designed to support Insight teammates experiencing a financial hardship or crisis situations. Insight teammates donate to the Foundation through payroll deduction and teammates can request support when needed. During good times and bad, Insight teammates are in it together.
  • Volunteer Days: Insight empowers teammates to volunteer with 2 days of paid time off. Teammates are given a total of 16 hours a year and are encouraged to volunteer for a foundation, charity or program of their choice. Insight prides itself on being benevolent and giving back to the community; and we are sure to provide the support for our teammates to get involved.
  • Bring your…to work: Insight offers bring your fit, dog and kid to work day throughout the year. Each with its own unique agenda, teammates look forward to participating in the fun. “Bring Your Fit” to work day happens every quarter and it involves yoga, boot camp and walks; along with some raffle prizes like sit, stand desks, fitbits etc. “Bring Your Kid” to work day occurs once a year and we schedule events where the children get involved and immerse themselves in the Insight culture. Lastly, “Bring Your Dog” to work day occurs every quarter. From miniature to large dogs, barks and tail wagging fill the halls of Insight.
  • Summit Club: Insight recognizes the success of our Sales teammates and our annual Values winner with an incredible trip to an exotic locale, 2016 location was at the Atlantis Resort in Paradise Island Bahamas. The trip is highly coveted and creates an atmosphere of fun, connection, and celebration!
  • United Way: Insight is a huge supporter of charitable giving and coordinates a company-wide United Way campaign each year. This year we gathered teammates by bringing in live music, food trucks, there were opportunities to donate to win fun prizes like gift cards, autographed memorabilia, game sets and much more– and in 2016 we donated an astounding $166K to help families in our community. We take extreme pride in our value of HEART.
  • Holiday Party: To close out the year and celebrate the success we have had from our hard work, we throw a company holiday party. It's held at a local hotel, this past years theme was the Fuchsia Affair. We bring toys to donate to children for Christmas. Dinner and drinks are served buffet style with a selection of Italian, Mexican, or a prime rib dinner. There is also a chance to enter raffles to win prizes, bikes, staycations, apple watches, and much much more. It's a great time to connect with our teammates.
  • Service Recognition: We celebrate our teammates careers, especially when it's a milestone. Hitting significant years like 3,5,10,15.... and so on we want to remind teammates of the impact they have had on Insight and their teammates. We award them with a symbolic branded numeral, a personalized yearbook with comments from their leader and their peers, and they get to select a gift of their choice.
  • Fun Committee: The fun committee puts together fun social events for teammates at their location. The events are also changing to keep it fresh. Here are a couple of things we always have, quarterly ice cream socials, and an annual Big Surf day where we rent out the water park for our teammates, family and friends.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

We look for individuals who demonstrate both the core comptencies necessary per their respecitve role AND those who demonstrate our Core Values of Hunger, Heart and Harmony.  We look for hungry and energetic teammates who want to be the best at whatever their respective job is. We look for talent who cares about their community, fellow teammates, clients and of course our partners. We value teammwork and individuals who can collaborate and innovate together  for  the betterment of our clients and our company.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

We admire those who are active in their communities and their respective professions. Those who are held in high regard and highly sought after. Because our teammates (employees) are what differentiates us from our competition it's critical that we hire the best talent available per role and we build strong teams who together accomplish much more than any one individual can. We actively recruit from various venues but the number one way we like to hire top talent is by referral.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

We are always looking for Top Sellers, and Technical Talent in the Microsoft, Cisco, Vmware, Data Center, Software Development, Business Intellignece and Infrastructure support fields. Our internal IT group hires the best of the best in SAP and Java. Our business operations teams and finance teams are always looking for the best and brightest in Business Operations Support.

What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?

Interested candidates should check out our career section of our webesite. We post all of our jobs on the career site and we are also more than happy to visit with candidates who want to learn more about Insight.  There is a general email address candidates can send a note too.
