Perks and Programs

We asked Insight Enterprises to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • In It Together Foundation: The Insight In It Together Foundation, 501(c)(3), provides much-needed financial support to Insight teammates in crisis situations. Our own teammates contribute to the Foundation, as does Insight. In the five years it has been operating, we have raised $750,000 for the cause. (It is the only program we run that doesn’t subscribe to the youth & technology focus, but we believe this focus is truly unique and sets us apart from many other employers.) It is a program that most at the company cite as the underpinning of our Heart core value, and the reason they are most proud to work at Insight.
  • Recognize: Our teammates are our most valued resource. We simply couldn’t do what we do every day without them and we believe the amazing work they do deserves to be celebrated. Recognize! is Insight’s online rewards and recognition portal. Recognize! offers a user-friendly, fun and social way to recognize each other for living Insight’s values every day. Teammates can provide a values award nomination (this recognition is appropriate for teammates who go above and beyond), or teammates can provide a HHHigh5 (this recognition is appropriate for a simple thank-you).
  • Bring your…to work: Insight offers bring your fit, dog and kid to work day throughout the year. Each with its own unique agenda, teammates look forward to participating in the fun. “Bring Your Fit” to work day happens every quarter and it involves yoga, boot camp and walks; along with some raffle prizes like sit, stand desks, fitbits etc. “Bring Your Kid” to work day occurs once a year and we schedule events where the children get involved and immerse themselves in the Insight culture. Lastly, “Bring Your Dog” to work day occurs every quarter. From miniature to large dogs, barks and tail wagging fill the halls of Insight.
  • Summit Club: Insight recognizes the success of our Sales teammates and our annual Values winner with an incredible trip to an exotic locale, 2017 location was in Barcelona, Spain. The trip is highly coveted and creates an atmosphere of fun, connection, and celebration!
  • Management Development Programs: Aspiring Leaders and Purpose Driven Leadership: We offer development programs for future and current leadership talent. Our ‘Aspiring Leaders’ program takes a cohort of 25 high potential, individual contributors, through 20 hours of learning spanning 3 months. The program covers a series of courses designed to increase their foundational leadership knowledge and self-awareness on such topics as Career Development, Providing Feedback, EQ & Developing Trust. Our ‘Purpose Driven Leadership’ program takes a cohort of 25 people leaders through 40 hours of learning spanning 4 months. The program has both virtual and required in-person sessions, facilitated from our head office in Phoenix. This cohort will have the unique opportunity to engage with a diverse group of fellow leaders across North America as they navigate the challenges and triumphs of leadership. Topics include world-renown content from Stephen Covey (7 Habits) and Ken Blanchard (Situational Leadership). Managers will tackle performance management, hiring, employee motivation and articulating their leadership philosophy.
  • Holiday Party: To close out the year and celebrate the success we have had from our hard work, we throw a company holiday party. It's held at a local hotel, this past years theme was the fuchsia fest, winter wonderland, and Seaside splash. We bring toys to donate to children for Christmas. Dinner and drinks are served buffet style with a selection of Italian, Mexican, or a prime rib dinner. There is also a chance to enter raffles to win prizes, bikes, staycations, apple watches, and much much more. It's a great time to connect with our teammates.
  • Service Recognition: We celebrate our teammates careers, especially when it's a milestone. Hitting significant years like 3,5,10,15.... and so on we want to remind teammates of the impact they have had on Insight and their teammates. We award them with a symbolic branded numeral, a personalized yearbook with comments from their leader and their peers, and they get to select a gift of their choice.
  • Fun Committee: The Fun Committee puts together fun social events for teammates at each of our sites. Events consist of quarterly ice cream socials, family sporting events, Halloween costume contests, and our annual company Holiday Parties, to name a few. At our corporate-sponsored events, teammates have the opportunity to connect with other teammates outside of work, and forge connections and celebrate the diversity of their co-workers. Members of the committee are creative and motivated volunteers who want to help grow our culture and champion our values and workplace connectedness.
  • Reach: Reach is an extension of the Heart our teammates show every day and is our next step in the evolution of giving at Insight. Reach unites all our charitable activities, United Way, Noble Cause and Arizona Diamondbacks Science of Baseball, and in-market giving under one single initiative: to support our local communities by providing opportunities for children through our shared love of technology. Insight also partners with the Arizona Diamondbacks Science of Baseball program to help STEM lessons come alive. The Noble Cause program supports wishes through Make-A-Wish foundation and provides funding to Ronald McDonald House and the Boys & Girls Club.
  • New! MyQHealth: MyQHealth is our new medical concierge. We know navigating healthcare choices for our teammates and their families can be challenging. They now have access to a new health and wellness advocate, MyQHealth, operated by Quantum Health. MyQHealth is a one-stop shop for all of our healthcare needs! They provide personalized healthcare guidance and support including finding a provider, understanding our benefits, helping our families navigate care options and more. MyQHealth will field all calls from our providers. They verify coverage, handle pre-authorizations and work with providers to ensure our teammates and their families get the care they need quickly.
