We asked Impact Networking, LLC for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.
What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
We seek employees that have the drive and determination to work their way up. The best employees are multidimensional and willing to evolve along with a growing company and the fast-paced technology industry. It's important for a prospective candidate to be helpful, respectful, reliable, competent and understand unwritten rules. Candidates should open their mind to suggestions and still be able to come up with their own ideas.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
Go the extra mile to research the competition, company statistics and the industry. We seek creative and driven employees who strive to be an integral part of Impact's growth. A sure way to stand out is the ability to tackle challenges and opportunities in a way that can't be found in a textbook. Any way a candidate can demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking in the interview process is encouraged!
Are there any unusual or especially rigorous steps of your hiring process that candidates should be aware of?
Candidates will go through an initial interview with the location's sales manager followed by a ride-along day with an experienced Account Manager. After the ride-along, the candidate will be scheduled for a second and final interview with a company partner.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
Every Impact department is currently hiring— our company has grown significantly over the past year. The most aggressive hiring will be for the Account Manager position.
What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?
Candidates can find additional information on the Impact website and social media platforms. The next step is to reach out to an Impact recruiter. Our recruiters set up several events for interested candidates throughout the year. Some of these include tailgating and sponsored campus events. The most qualified candidates receive invitations to Impact Tech Shows and the Annual Meet the Firm Event. Interested candidates can begin the application process on the website. An Impact recruiter will reach out to all qualified candidates to discuss the position, answer any questions that they may have and begin the interview process.
