Perks and Programs

We asked Hueman People Solutions to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Employee Appreciation Month: Our desire is to show appreciation for our employees year round, however we pull out the big guns for Employee Appreciation Month by creating weekly games, team building outings, and fun events to play together during the work week.
  • Wellbeing Programs: Hueman creates or selects a new wellness program each year. This year we chose Whole Life Challenge. It was more than a workout or nutrition challenge alone. It was designed as a full mind, heart and body awareness program. Greater than 60% of employees participated in the challenges and created healthy life-long habits.
  • On-site Gym: Hueman has a long standing history of ensuring fitness is affordable and available to our employees. We have a large on-site gym available for the employees to workout any time throughout the day. It is also available on weekends. On-site yoga classes and personal certified trainers are offered three times a week; with kickboxing classes scheduled three days a week in case that is more your style. Additionally, employees may choose to workout at two local gyms, where personal trainers are provided via the Hueman relationship.
  • Comfortable Dress Code: Our environment can't be beat. We are located right on the beach. To go with that relaxed environment Hueman allows us a comfortable dress code. I am most happy to come to work each day in shorts and flip flops. Life is good! And, when you're that happy the job is enjoyable as well.
  • Birthday and Anniversary Celebrations: We host monthly afternoon parties to highlight the individuals celebrating their birthdays and the ones celebrating their work anniversaries. For added joy and excitement, we switch up the celebratory desserts so you are surprised each month. Gifts in respect to the anniversaries are awarded publicly.
  • Community Involvement: Hueman fully supports and inspires us in our community initiatives. We are given 8 volunteer hours to dedicate and serve our charity of choice. We establish fundraising goals and work as a team to achieve said monetary and service hours goals. It is wonderful to come together and make this success happen. Each year when we reach our goal we celebrate together as a company with an offsite party and game like Top Golf or bowling. It's great fun!
  • Town Hall: We receive direct CEO communication to the entire company, regardless of level. It's an open forum with total transparency on the state of the business. No questions are off limits. Dwight is big on questions - the more the merrier.
  • Halloween Day Celebration: Hueman hosts a Halloween contest every year with prizes for best individual and best group. The groups take it to another level by including singing, dancing, and acting. They will do anything to win the contest. In conjunction, we celebrate our annual fundraising efforts by bowling in costume. This past year we raised over $66,000.
  • Core Value Committee: We have a dedicated committee who, in addition to their normal job duties, are responsible for ensuring we are upholding core values. They consistently plan fun events to give back to all employees. Being a member of this committee is a coveted position, completely volunteer based and earned by leading by example.
