What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
A successful HTA'er is caring and compassionate, skilled in communication and very adaptive. We also look for the person’s ability to work with a team and collaborate effectively. We also look for people who are smart, passionate about what they do and are positive. Successful candidates also must be aligned with our core values.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
A creative cover letter can go a long way. In the past, we have called some candidates in just because their cover letter was clever, catchy and real. We're looking to see the passion and desire to work hard to get what you want.
Are there any unusual or especially rigorous steps of your hiring process that candidates should be aware of?
Our interview process is fairly standard. HR conducts an initial phone screening followed by either an in-person or video interview (depending on the location of the applicant). This interview is held with several members of the department to which they are applying. The final interview is the Culture Interview which includes members of our executive team as well as employees from different departments. During this Culture Interview, unique questions are asked to determine how the applicant aligns with our Core Values.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
In the coming year, we are focusing on hiring bright energetic individuals who possess a background in either the Information Technology or Finance fields. As our company grows, we are developing new projects and initiatives that warrant the need for people that are well versed in these areas and can contribute to a positive team-oriented environment.
