Perks and Programs

We asked Grovo to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Camp Grovo: Camp Grovo is a three day company retreat, which brings together all employees and creates a close-knit team. The weekend away to relax, recharge, and have fun kicks off on Friday morning with bagels in the office before boarding buses to shuttle employees to the retreat. The weekend includes field day activities, a poker tournament, sports, and meals together, which allows employees to get to know their coworkers outside of the office setting and form a stronger team bond.
  • Personal Trainer and Onsite Gym: Despite being a small company, health is a top priority: Grovo offers 100% free personal training sessions in our onsite gym. The company employs a full-time Director of Health, who is responsible for helping Grovo employees lead healthier, more active lives. In his role, he leads daily mobility, personal training, cardio and bootcamp classes. He also manages and develops nutrition education and meditation programs.
  • Parental Leave Plan: In order to best support employees during the life-changing time of welcoming a child, the company provides all full-time employees with paid parental leave. Grovo provides a generous parental leave plan - 16.5 weeks for primary caregivers and 6 weeks for secondary caregivers. The policy is not based on gender.
  • Grovo for Good: Grovo has a dedicated philanthropic arm - Grovo for Good - driven by our employee's concern and interest around improving society and the environment.
  • Unlimited PTO & Minimum 3 Days Each Quarter: Grovo value work-life balance. The company offers unlimited PTO and encourages people to take at least 3 days off per quarter.
  • Quarterly Team Outings: Teams are encouraged to do something social every quarter. It's so important that it's written in the company's Manager SLA. Managers have a budget of $225 per person and help from the Experience Team to make it happen.
  • Everyone is an Owner: From entry level sales person to engineering director, everyone owns part of our company!
