We asked Geneca to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • GenLabs: Geneca encourages professional development to inspire innovation, keep employees current in the industry, and expand skills and knowledge pertaining to job success. Knowing that our current employees possess an incredible amount of knowledge on various topics, we have set up Geneca Lab, on online learning environment with content classrooms made by Genecians for Genecians. As we work to expand our offerings, each employee is required to join a content team and help develop a course designed to introduce their topic to others. In addition, each individual will also have the opportunity to learn more about a wide variety of topics as they cycle through all of the course offerings.
  • GREAT Fund: The GREAT fund exists to provide employees with reimbursement for job enhancement and productivity tools such as software, books, etc. Fund money may also be used to attend conferences, webinars, or workshops if desired. Each employee is allotted a GREAT fund per calendar year.
  • Remote Work: All employees are eligible to work from home 1-2 days per week, based on their current work assignment.
  • Corporate Events: Geneca hosts corporate events throughout the year including quarterly meetings, and two annual parties - Holiday and Summertime.
  • Company Sponsored Activities: Geneca sponsors group outings and organizes employee get-togethers’. These events are strictly non-work-related and are meant to be a fun opportunity to get together with fellow employees. Past outings have included laser tag, bowling, and escape rooms.
  • Employee Motivation: Geneca values each of their employees and provides personal motivation to each individual. Motivations include cookies sent to employees welcoming them prior to their first day, anniversary gifts to those who are married, and birthday gifts to each employee with personalized cards from the team.

We look for technical prowess, strong communication skills, and tenacity when selecting employees. Technical prowess is required to perform job duties effectively. Strong communication skills signal a candidate’s ability to work well with a team and confer with clients. Tenacity demonstrates a willingness to commit to providing quality work and growing professionally each day.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

Prospective employees should demonstrate an understanding of our business and clients by referencing our website or case studies and discussing how our goals align with theirs.
