  • Quarter Century Club: Company holds an annual recognition banquet for employees with 25 or more years of service. Every year employees receive $250 ($25 for every year of service - capped at $250).
  • Patient Safety Hero Award: Patient Safety Heroes can be anyone in any position who takes a specific action that prevents harm to a patient. Heroes don't have to be chosen by management and in fact it is preferred that these recommendations come from peers or other coworkers in the department. In addition to being publicly recognized for their safety advocacy, Patient Safety heroes will have a choice of a gift from the Hospital.
  • Employee Service Awards: Employees receive recognition based on their milestone anniversay i.e. 5, 10, 15, 20 years of service, etc. Employee receive points based on years of service to be spent on gifts. In addition, employees are publicly recognized for their service at a banquet.
  • Pillars of Excellence Program (PEP: The PEP celebrates those who go above and beyond their typical duties to help the health system achieve its mission as well as strategic goals and objectives. Employees are recoginized by their managers, peers, patients, etc and receive points each time they are recognized i.e. PEPed. Points can be used to purchase gifts from PEP catalog.
  • Healthcare Week: Each year the health system celebrates healthcare week to publicly thank and recognize employees for all they do in support of the health system's mission, vision, values, strategic goals and objectives. Employees attend numerous events such as a talent show/contest as well as receive food/snacks, gifts and other goodies from their managers.
  • Angel Fund: The Angel Fund is an assistance program available for employees who are experiencing hardship due to a catastrophic issue i.e. illness or death of a loved one or other catastrophic event. The fund also provides contact information on community resources that may be of additional assistance.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

In addition to the minimum qualifications, knowledge skills and ability required for the position, candidates are selected on behavioral questions related to our mission, vision, values, strategic goals and objectives, as well as a desire to make a difference (directly of indirectly) in the lives of our patients and the communities we serve. We also look for character traits such as compassion, empathy and service oriented/servant leaders.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

Submit an application with a copy of their resume and/or a letter of interest as to why they want to work for us and/or help us fulfill our mission. 

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

For the next year, we are focused on hiring RNs in certain specialties i.e. ED, NICU, L&D, OR, Home Health experience. We are also seeking Certified Nursing and Medical Assistants.

What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?

Interested candidates can attend our career fairs and open house. In addition, they can visit our career website and/or precept with a physician or nurse, volunteer and tour our facility.
