How to Get Hired
We asked Framework LLC for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.
What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
Framework's detailed job postings request specific documents and information intended to gauge both professional expertise and personal qualities. Those candidates who take the time to craft a thoughtful response and attend to all of the requested answers and documents demonstrate the attention to detail and sincere interest in working for Framework that earns our careful consideration. Every job post includes the question: "What attracts you to Framework and why would you be a great fit?" Demonstrating a passion for our mission and the ability to play well with others matter just as much as an applicant's technical knowledge. Lastly, a commitment to "freakishly high quality standards," as we refer to our expectations of our work, is an essential quality for every successful applicant.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
Prospective employees who submit a thoughtful, strongly written cover letter that offers insight into the applicant as an individual and respond to all questions asked in the job posting tend to stand out as potential "Framers." Demonstrating commitment to meaningful causes, a track record of initiative and success in their work, and an understanding of how their knowledge can advance our mission helps. And, since consulting can be exacting and sometimes stressful despite our best efforts to maintain a healthy work-life balance, having a sense of humor never hurts.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
Our positions often require the ability to understand a wide range of stakeholders and cultures, a high degree of emotional intelligence, and astuteness about global and corporate matters. We recognize the importance of diversity and inclusion in both our workplace and on a larger social scale. And we believe that by creating a multicultural, ethnically diverse workplace free from discrimination of race, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, or disability, we contribute to shaping a more equitable world.
What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?
We encourage applicants to visit our website to learn more about what we do, the clients we serve, and our employees. Framework also has a company page on LinkedIn where interested candidates can read additional editorial pieces published by Framework's thought leaders and apply to open positions. While we don't accept calls from candidates for open positions, we welcome general networking and are always open to meeting potential future employees and accepting résumés for future consideration.
