Perks and Programs

We asked Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Advancing Cancer Research: Four Seasons Of Progress: For more than 30 years, Four Seasons has been deeply committed to the cause of advancing cancer research. Initially a one-time event inspired by a local hero, fundraising activities have now spread to the company’s hotels and resorts around the world, raising millions of dollars annually to benefit dozens of local research and care facilities.
  • Supporting Sustainability: Four Seasons Of Preservation: Four Seasons involves employees and guests in the common goal of preserving and protecting the planet. Four Seasons engages in sustainable practices that conserve natural resources and reduce environmental impact. As importantly, sustainable tourism will enhance and protect the destinations where Four Seasons operates for generations to come.
  • Building Communities: Four Seasons Of Purpose: Four Seasons is committed to being a responsible and caring community partner by having a positive economic impact and supporting community goals, both within and outside the hotel. Four Seasons engages in innovative training and mentoring programs for young people, supporting those in need and celebrating the diverse cultures where Four Seasons operates.
  • Innovation: Four Seasons has always prided itself on providing a trusting atmosphere for their employees where they feel confident to meet the needs of every guest, no matter how challenging, in a way that is both meaningful and truly genuine. The aim is to empower them to think creatively in order to create lasting memories for their guests. And it’s from this spirit that countless innovations have been born. Their approach to innovation is a way to harness the power and passion of all of their employees in 105 hotels and resorts in 43 countries as they continue to grow. It's a journey that in their employees' hands will continue to forge a new path for Four Seasons – today, and in the future.
  • Complimentary Rooms: At Four Seasons, we believe all active employees should have the opportunity to experience Four Seasons service when traveling on vacation or personal business. Our complimentary room policy is unique in the industry and one of our most popular programs for employees. An extension of our Golden Rule philosophy, the policy lets our employees stay at our hotels like guests do – an opportunity they may not have otherwise.
  • EmPact: Since 1990, every US Four Seasons full and part-time employee who is not covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement has had the option to be covered by our employment contract called EmPact. We are very proud of this employee agreement and consider it to be a distinctive and valuable benefit for all of our employees. In essence, as employers, we contractually bind ourselves to a set of behaviors and there are both rewards and consequences depending on how we honor our commitments.
