We asked Fluent, LLC to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Monthly Team Events: Fluent has a celebration each month that rewards employees with food, drinks, and some kind of fun activity. (e,g., Oktoberfest, Field Day, St. Patrick's Day and more!) We've even had a magician and hypnotist come into the office to entertain our team! Other fun activiites include sumo wrestling, "bubble soccer," sunset sailing around the city and Jeopardy! These gatherings not only promote team bonding, but also to reward employees for their hard work and commitment to Fluent.
  • Catered Lunch & Breakfast: Several times a week, we have free catered food, always from a new NYC restaurant. 
  • Summer and Fall Fridays: Summer and Fall Fridays are determined by our weekly performance. If we meet certain goals each week, employees are able to leave from work early to kick off their weekend! This awesome perk begin each year in May and extends all the way through November.
  • Yoga: Near the end of the work day each Wednesday, we have a yoga instructor come into the office and teach an hour-long yoga class. The class is open to all Fluent employees and for all experience levels. It's a great way to de-stress and refocus mid-week!
  • Annual Golf Outing: Fluent loves to give back to its community with the annual golf charity outing. This event is an extremely fun and successful day for raising money for charity. Each year the organization may vary, but Fluent always makes sure to benefit a local cause. In the past, we have benefited the charity near and dear to most employees, Services for the UnderServed, as the organization is based out of New York.
  • Annual Scavenger Hunt: Each year, Fluent hosts a scavenger hunt in which employees are divided into teams and compete against each other while looking for clues around NYC's Financial District. Employees enjoy the opportunity to be spirited in their attire and enjoy the fun party at the end of the race! What is most fun about this day is that the teams are intentionally created to bring Fluent members together that are not on the same work teams.
  • Basketball and Volleyball Teams: Fluent employees form competitive basketball and volleyball teams and play against other well-known companies' teams in the NYC area. It's a great opportunity for bonding time outside of work.
  • Subsidized Gym Membership: Discounts on local gym memberships!
  • Bootcamp: Once per week, we have a personal trainer come in to conduct an hour-long boot camp class after work. Our instructor stays the same through the six months, and helps track each participant’s individual progress throughout the program. The workouts vary from indoor to outdoor, and is for all experience levels.
  • Massage Day: Massage therapists visit and allow Fluent employees to take a break from their busy work days.

      We look for candidates who embody an entrepreneurial spirit. As a younger company, we are always looking for better and more efficient ways to get things done. Candidates with ambition and drive – those who don’t just take direction but consistently come up with new solutions to problems and business challenges are the ones who truly succeed and are valued at Fluent.

      Candidates who thoroughly research and are able to articulate what we do at Fluent always catch our attention.
