What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
The core competencies we look for include: adaptability, authenticity, collaboration, communication, craftsmanship, leadership, passion, resilience, resourcefulness, self-awareness, self-managing, humility, kindness and empathy, bias to action, and purpose driven.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
The most effective way for a candidate to stand out is to have a well-written cover letter, completed homework, portfolio or other documentation of work. We want to hear about you, and your interests, in your own words.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
We’re hiring across the entire company this year. We’re also making a conscious and proactive effort to recruit diverse talent. In 2015, we made big strides in hiring women not only into Engineering but also management and leadership positions throughout the company. Today, our leadership and management are 50% women. Going forward, we plan to continue our upward momentum with gender diversity, while also beginning to focus more heavily on ethnic and racial diversity.
