What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

Some key characteristics we look for include: Self-aware, authentic, hardcore, adaptable, kind, creative, communicative, diligent, scrappy, passionate, generous, brave, self managing, humble, different.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

The most effective way for a candidate to stand out is to have a well-written resume submitted alongside a compelling cover letter. The resume only tells one side of the story. We want to hear about you, and your interests, in your own words.

Are there any unusual or especially rigorous steps of your hiring process that candidates should be aware of?

There is nothing unusual about our hiring process. We designed the process to be extremely efficient with an emphasis on speed and excellent candidate experience. The process varies across different teams but candidates can expect 1 to 2 phone interview and an onsite interview that will take about 4-5 hours.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

We’re hiring across the entire company this year. We’re also making a conscious and proactive effort to recruit diverse talent within Product and Engineering. In order to build a product that will be used by people across the globe,  we need to offer a seat at the table to people from all walks of life. To this end we have committed to implementing forward-thinking diversity recruiting initiatives.

What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?
