  • Epic Friday: One Friday each month Epic employees are encouraged to work on something they’re passionate about outside of their day to day work. They then have the opportunity to present their work at company meetings.  These projects often times result in current product improvements in our games or Unreal Engine.
  • 100% Employer Paid Benefits: Epic pays for 100% of benefit premiums, with $0 out of pocket expense, for all employees, same and opposite sex domestic partners and spouses + dependents starting on the first day of employment. Employees are enrolled in Medical, Dental, LTD, AD&D and Life insurance on day one.

      What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

      Epic Games employees are smart, talented, and passionate. If you are those three things, and have relevant experience, you’re likely to be a great fit here. There isn’t one way to show that you have these attributes, as they can manifest themselves differently in every individual. Smart typically equates to the ability to solve complex problems as they relate to your field of expertise. Talented means you are at the top of your game. Passion means that there is something that gets you out of bed every morning and drives you to continue to innovate in your area of expertise. Successful employees at Epic demonstrate all three.

      What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

      Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

      We are looking for talented folks for all of our teams, but most specifically our game, technology and publishing teams. Our game teams are always looking for talented programmers, artists, designers, and producers to help with the development of our games, including Paragon and Fortnite. Our technology teams are looking for engineers across multiple specialties, including rendering, tools, web, backend and systems, and data engineers. These individuals focus on developing and iterating on the Unreal Engine to allow us and our partners to bring creations to life, whether it’s games, visualizations, or beyond. The publishing teams are looking to grow our User Experience, Analytics, Marketing, and Creative Service practices to ensure we are operating our games to their maximum potential.
