  • High 5: Each year, every ECi employee is given $120 that they may use to recognize their co-workers for the great work they are doing.  We call each recognition a "High 5."  Employees recognized with a High 5 are also highlighted on our intranet news feed and each recognition can be viewed by every employee worldwide. High 5's are a great way to daily reinforce our global culture!  Similar to Facebook, employees can leave Comments, Like a recognition, and "Boost" a recognition to award additional money to the recognized employee.
  • One-to-One Community Giveback: ECi will make a monetary contribution to a local organization that our employees are actively engaged with and can demonstrate a long-term relationship with. An example would be Big Brothers/Big Sisters mentoring program.
  • Embrace Community Day: Since Embrace Community is one of our core values, we encourage our employees to make a difference in their local communities.  Every ECi employee, no matter where they live or what they do, is provided one day each calendar year to volunteer in their local community. ECi will pay its employees their normal hourly rate or salary for 1 business day per calendar year to serve at a qualified and approved volunteer organization.
  • Quarterly Standing Ovation Awards: Through our reward and recognition system - High 5, employees may nominate their peers for a quarterly $500 reward based on each of our Core Values. The winners of the awards are highlighted during our quarterly All Hands/Town Hall meetings where every employee sees their accomplishments and can celebrate along with them.
  • Wellness Premium Incentive: Employees participating in our health and welfare plans may receive a reduced monthly premium if they participate in our annual wellness activities. These activities include establishing a relationship with a Primary Care Physician, completing a bio-metric screening, and a follow up visit with a nurse to discuss results.
  • Partners in Leadership: All ECi employees received 4 hours of training through Partners in Leadership which focuses on accountability training.  Since Own the Outcome is one of our Core Values, it is critical that all employees speak a common language around accountability.
  • Innovation Day: ECi sponsors a competition where employees are given 24 hours to focus on Value Creation, which is one of our Corporate Goals. At the end of 24 hours, employees present their ideas before a panel of peers and leaders. Teams of winners are recognized through our reward and recognition system with monetary values.
  • ECi Global EBITA Bonus Plan: All non-commissioned based ECi employees participate in the success of our company through our Global EBITA Bonus Plan. Should ECi achieve it's financial and revenue targets, employees are eligible to receive an annual bonus.
  • Weekly Employee Engagement - "Happy Face" Pulse Survey: Each Monday, we ask our employees a very simple question, "How do you feel about work today?" This weekly check-in is a way for us to quickly address employee concerns and a way to take a pulse as we change policies. This data may be broken down to the team level and is 100% confidential for employees.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

Our mission statement is, "We are industry experts supporting the entreprenurial spirit and profitable growth of small and medium sized enterprises."  At ECi, we understand that our small business owners depend on us to keep their businesses running.  All applicants must have a heart for serving small to medium sized businesses.  Our Core Values of Crave Greatness, Own the Outcome, Deliver Awesome and Embrace Community form the backbone of our culture.  Employees are rated on each of the Core Values on their annual review, and therefore applicants must be able to give examples of success in each of the Core Values.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

We love applicants who have experience working in small to medium sized businesses.  They understand and can articulate the specific needs of entrepreneurs and the unique challenges they face.  Our employees are the internal "champions" for their customers.

Software Support Specialist is a unique position on our team.  They are the front-line employees who are the first touch point when our customers call ECi for help.  These individuals must be able to demostrate empathy, a heart for seeing the success of others, experience managing first call resolution, and have the technical skill sets to assist our customers with software questions.
