What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
We focus on authenticity and transparency when seeking prospective employees. Our interviews are not traditional - they tend to be more on the conversational side. We really look for a culture fit, because at the end of the day, we want great people working for us. We have turned down qualified candidates for individuals that we viewed as having more of a culture fit, who can learn and grown with us.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
Prospective employees can be authentic and transparent in their interviews - two traits we heavily focus on. Because we are heavily invested in our culture, we want people who think out of the box and aren't just a "worker bee."
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
We are very focused on hiring for our Sales Advisor positions. Because we're not your typical car dealership, we are not looking for your typical car salesman. Our Sales Advisors are salaried positions and we really focus on our customers' experience in our dealership.
