DLL - A Company That Cares

Perks and Programs

We asked DLL Financial Services Inc to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • DLL NOW (Network of Women): The DLL Network of Women is in its third year, and continues to grow its impact on the development and professional empowerment of DLL's female members. The network has 8 chapters globally (2 in the US), and provides formally-scheduled development, learning and coaching programming at least once per quarter. The DLL NOW programs include: lunches with leadership, networking and team-led yoga sessions, educational sessions including Developing Executive Presence, Building LinkedIn Profiles, and Leadership Panels. DLL NOW also provides mentoring and coaching for growth in female leadership, opportunities to openly discuss the challenges and opportunities women face in achieving their goals, exposure for career enhancement, and direct engagement with the Executive Board and other company leaders on topics of diversity, inclusion and career development.
  • Enhanced Family Leave Programs: Effective 1/1/18, DLL's expanded leave policies include a maternity leave paid at 100% for 8 weeks, followed by 4 weeks of parental leave paid at 100%. These leaves are then followed by 2 weeks of transitional leave where the member will work 50% in the office and get paid for full-time, followed by 2 weeks of any accrued PTO the member wishes to utilize. This same parental leave can be utilized by a new father or an adopting parent to receive 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. DLL’s final leave enhancement for 2018 will be a fully paid caregiver leave that will allow members to take 2 weeks off to care for a sick relative.
  • Member Wellness: DLL began its formal Wellness Program in 2012, shifting from a reactive to proactive approach to member wellbeing. DLL engaged our partners at Independence Blue Cross, United Concordia and Vanguard to create a program that supports Mind, Body and Financial Wellness. Our wellness program and progress is recognized by United Concordia and Independence Blue Cross as a success story and model for other wellness programs. In 2016, DLL finished 1st in our industry for the Healthiest Workplace Award. DLL members enjoy a market-leading benefit package in addition to wellness activities including a US-wide 10,000 step walking challenge, monthly wellness newsletters, educational seminars (stretch & relaxation techniques, financial planning, etc.), Chair Massages, discounted “eat well” options in our café, and a $500 wellness incentive.
  • Learning and Development: DLL passionately supports the development of its members through a Global Learning Team dedicated to delivering the technical and behavioral skill sessions members want and need. One of DLL's 4 Core Values is "Development Starts With Me," reinforcing and empowering DLL members to drive their learning and development needs forward, with the knowledge that the organization supports their journey. In the last 12 months, DLL has invested over 30,000 hours of professionally-led internal member training. Whether a member is seeking to improve skills in technical software, program management, leadership, emotional intelligence, communication, or any other area that would make them a more effective professional, DLL is committed to providing opportunities for development, encouraging members to achieve more and impact the organization further.
  • Work-Life Balance: DLL prides itself on talent obtainment and retention through a best-in-class employment experience. Part of being an employer of choice is offering a variety of work-life balance measures to ensure members feel that their employment with DLL is a seamless part of their life, not a disruption to their life. Paid Time Off allotment ranges from 18 to 38 days per year, increasing with tenure and position, with members able to carry over 10 unused days to the following year. The organization also offers a 21-business day paid sabbatical to members after 7 years of service. Remote work and flexible schedule capabilities are supported and encouraged throughout DLL, and amenities like onsite fitness center, dry cleaning, cafeteria, and massages make DLL an employer of choice that truly cares about a member's wellbeing.
  • Charitable Giving & Community Involvement: DLL strives to make a profound impact in each community in which it operates, holding itself accountable as a contributor to the greater good. DLL achieves this pursuit through both monetary charitable giving and volunteerism. In addition to annual corporate donations to charities, DLL has matched 50% of all member contributions to the company's core charity partners for more than 15 years. In 2018, the program was expanded to match 50% of member contributions any qualified non-profit organization, allowing members the opportunity to give more to causes they care about. DLL also provides all members with 2 full paid days each year to volunteer at local charities. Through these efforts, DLL maximizes its impact on the community and society, and enriches the employment experience for our members.
