  • Events, Holidays and Celebrations: Dixon Advisory USA holds quarterly networking events on Friday afternoons at popular venues throughout New York City. This gives the growing company a great opportunity to mingle with all teams, including executives, in a more relaxed environment. During the holiday party, there is an Ugly Sweater Contest where all employees have a chance to win various fun prizes.  We also provide all Federal Holidays off at full pay - as well as an extra day for Super Bowl Monday - giving every employee a day off after the Super bowl to celebrate (or mourn) the result!
  • Employee Health and Giving: We coordinate annual flu-shots and blood drives for all staff in our New York office, keeping them healthy and encouraging to help others in need. As an additional health benefit our subsidized insurance plan (offered to full-time employees) provides reimbursements of up to $400 per year if they attend their gym (or ride their Citibike!) 50 times in each 6 month period. 
  • Openness, Communication and Rewards: Dixon Advisory USA promotes an open plan office, where all employees sit alongside the executive and management team. This allows for brainstorming of ideas, collaboration and encourages team work within the office. Additionally, we provide all employees with the opportunity to earn bi-annual bonuses in addition to annual remuneration reviews, with performance reviews and feedback (from both the employee and manager) provided frequently so that everyone can learn and grow. 
  • Happy Hour Fridays: Each Friday, Dixon Advisory USA provides juice, soda, beer, wine, cider and champagne for all staff at 4:00 pm in the kitchen. Additionally, Dixon provides snacks - chips, dips, fruit and cheeses - to encourage everyone to network and unwind after the week.
  • Leadership Academy: Dixon Advisory USA strives to keep our team at the peak of their professional game. We created a leadership program to help the emerging leaders grow and develop by spending one afternoon per month liaising with various team directors to gain valuable insight and knowledge into different management styles.
  • International Transfers: Dixon Advisory, our parent company, is based in Australia. This close connection allows both our Australian and New York employees the unique opportunity to transfer offices for a period of time to experience different countries and cultures. Our transferred employees have the opportunity to better understand the international arms of the business, spread their own knowledge and expertise as well as provide the international office with a fresh set of eyes and ears.
  • Buddy System: Dixon Advisory USA assigns buddies to each new starter to ensure that they have a mentor and never have to eat lunch alone! On their first day, each new starter is allocated a buddy who they have coffee or morning tea with in the morning, and keep in touch with throughout their tenure.
  • Community Service: Dixon Advisory USA's property arm, Pure Properties, is involved in many community service activities. Capitalizing on their knowledge of real estate, the team assisted in a renovation and makeover of a women's shelter in New Jersey, with overwhelming enthusiasm from all teams to participate and help the community. Additionally, Dixon Advisory USA is heavily involved in all neighborhoods where we own properties, including sponsoring community events and also partnering with programs such as New City Kids, where we take on high school interns with the aim to inspire them to reach their full potential.
  • Graduate Rotations: At Dixon Advisory USA, we hire graduates for our Project Management department. Each new team member takes part in the Graduate Induction Program where they spend their first full week of working receiving presentations from every team in the office, venturing on property tours to the various neighborhood we operate in and attending different networking events to get to know their peers and members from different teams throughout the office. Their formal employment commences with a 12 month rotation between four teams, providing them with insight into different managerial styles, work-flow levels and also allowing them to network within the teams. At the end of the program, they can nominate their preferred team to work in for the next year as well as be evaluated for a promotion to Project Manager. 
  • Staff Spotlight: Every two weeks, our Marketing Team at Dixon Advisory USA publishes a spotlight on one of our team members to our blog. The story is sent throughout the office, and is featured on our various social media platforms. Always well received throughout the office, it's a great way to get to know personal or quirky facts about our employees.
