How to Get Hired
We asked DiscoverOrg for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.
What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
Individuals who are intelligent, competitive, confident, and get excited about the idea of working for DiscoverOrg. They truly understand the value of our product and the value it provides for our customers as well as what the opportunity for rapid gowth means for their career. We look for people who are excited about the prospect of knowing that 6 months from now there will be 50 new employees they may learn from, mentor, or potentially lead.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
If you want to get our attention, apply. You will always receive a response from DiscoverOrg's recruiting team, however, make sure to do your research. Those that are likely to get our attention are the ones that strive to go above and beyond. They research the company and more specifically the department they are interested in joining and they do their best to identify who the key stakeholders are in that department and make a good impression.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
We are always looking to fill roles for Sales, Product Development, and Research. We have a very extensive hiring process for these departments, and we are laser focused on finding top talent.
What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?
We have a lot of useful content for prospective employees to do their research and get excited about what we do. We actually publish our culture book so you can get a feel for who we are before applying. Applicants can pull from anything including our website, Glassdoor, G2 Crowd, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media outlets.
