Perks and Programs

We asked Digital Prospectors to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Tuition Reimbursement: Digital Prospectors provides a tuition reimbursement that pays up to $5,250 per calendar year. Currently we have four staffers pursuing their MBAs, but any degree or certification path that can further an employee’s career at Digital Prospectors is strongly encouraged. The courses need to be related to their field of work in order for employees to be reimbursed. In addition to paying for tuition, Digital Prospectors will cover up to $150 for textbooks per course. In order to receive the tuition reimbursement, employees must agree to continue employee with the company for 12 months after the conclusion of each course. Employees must obtain a grade of B- or better in each course to receive the reimbursement.
  • Kudos Kash: If one employee sees another coworker going above and beyond at the office, for instance stepping up to help out with something that has nothing to do with their job, then they can be recognized and rewarded with Kudos Kash. Each employee has three $100 Kudos Kash vouchers that they can give out throughout the year. Once given out, the recipient receives that Kudos Kash in $100 cash.
  • Employee Chosen Volunteer Day and Company Donation Match/ An abundance of Volunteer opportunities: Digital Prospectors has an employee-chosen volunteer day in which each individual has 8 hours each year that they can volunteer/support a cause of their choice. In addition to this, Digital Prospectors offers a donation match up to $250 per year to any charitable organization or cause that employees see fit. Digital Prospectors is very engaged in volunteerism including multiple company volunteer outings throughout the year and charitable donation matches to non-profits of employee’s choice. Employees also have the opportunity to take time off to volunteer at a non-profit of their choice. There is a Philanthropy Committee who focuses efforts to support non-profits that employees care about. Digital Prospectors offers a lunch every two weeks for employees who bring in a non-perishable to be donated to a non-profit.
  • Health and Wellness Allowance / 1.5 Hour Lunch for Gym: Employees are reimbursed up to $125 per month to cover their health and wellness expenses. This includes gym memberships (even though we have an on-site gym), personal trainers, yoga, and other fitness classes. The extended 1.5 hour lunch is meant to give employees the opportunity to work out during the workday so that they don’t have to after-hours during family time.
  • Flex Schedule: Employees have the opportunity to create flexible schedules to accommodate family obligations and have the ability to work from home when necessary. Work-life balance is an important value of Digital Prospectors from the top down. Management genuinely cares about everyone’s families and understands that family comes first.

We also have quarterly company-wide outings, including Bowling Party with pizza, Go-Karting, Ropes Course, Harpoon Brewery Tour and Party with limo bus. If we hit our year-end goals as a company, we go all out. Past parties have included a comedy show, fancy dinner, hotel rooms, and bar hopping in the city. How to Get Hired

We asked Digital Prospectors for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

Our current employees come to us from a variety of different backgrounds and with a wide range of experiences. Prospective employees must be passionate about helping both our clients and consultants “love their jobs.” All candidates must share the play hard work even harder mentality. Our office is full of energy, so prospective employees should be excited to contribute to the environment and enjoy celebrating successes both big and small. Those interested in Recruiting and Account Executive positions at our organization should be goal-oriented and sales-driven with at least one year of experience in the recruiting industry, preferably in the contract IT/Engineering staffing services space. Our best applicants are experienced and successful enough to know that contract staffing recruiting is the right business for them, smart enough to realize the long term value of switching to the right agency – now, and confident enough to actually do it.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

Prospective employees should connect with us on LinkedIn, follow us on social media, and provide us feedback on our content. We are always excited about meeting new people, whether they end up being a fit for a position now or in the future. When introducing themselves, they should include their resume as well as a brief background highlighting who they are, their experience in the staffing industry, and what makes them stand out from their competition.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

We are always on the lookout for the best talent in the industry. Rather than recruit reactively, we take a proactive approach and anticipate needs before we have them. We are always on the hunt for awesome employees and open to having a conversation with those who are interested in learning more about who we are and what we do. We don’t hire for the sake of hiring and we also won’t turn the right candidate away if we don’t have a seat for them. In the coming year, we will be particularly focused on hiring Technical Recruiters and Account Executives. Because of our plans for continued growth, we are hoping to augment our Recruiting and Account Executive teams with sales-minded individuals. We are particularly interested in candidates who have at least one year of experience in the staffing industry.

What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?

We recently launched our new website, which emphasizes our brand and what it really means to “love your job.” We encourage candidates to explore our site, especially our new employee bio pages, as well as our Glassdoor page so that they can get a real sense of who we are here at Digital Prospectors. Candidates should also make sure to check out us out on social media, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram, where they can really see a “day in the life” of a Digital Prospectors employee. Our social media content features everything from pictures of us enjoying local food trucks to videos of us celebrating when we place a consultant at one of our clients. If candidates are interested in joining our growing team, they should look at our “Work Here” page for details on how to apply.
