We asked Digital Prospectors for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.
What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
Our current employees come to us from a variety of different backgrounds and with a wide range of experiences. Prospective employees must be passionate about helping both our clients and consultants “love their jobs.” All candidates must share the play hard work even harder mentality. Our office is full of energy, so prospective employees should be excited to contribute to the environment and enjoy celebrating successes both big and small.
Those interested in Recruiting and Account Executive positions at our organization should be goal-oriented and sales-driven with at least one year of experience in the recruiting industry, preferably in the contract IT/Engineering staffing services space. Our best applicants are experienced and successful enough to know that contract staffing recruiting is the right business for them, smart enough to realize the long term value of switching to the right agency – now, and confident enough to actually do it.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
Prospective employees should connect with us on LinkedIn, follow us on social media, and provide us feedback on our content. We are always excited about meeting new people, whether they end up being a fit for a position now or in the future. When introducing themselves, they should include their resume as well as a brief background highlighting who they are, their experience in the staffing industry, and what makes them stand out from their competition.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
We are always on the lookout for the best talent in the industry. Rather than recruit reactively, we take a proactive approach and anticipate needs before we have them. We are always on the hunt for awesome employees and open to having a conversation with those who are interested in learning more about who we are and what we do. We don’t hire for the sake of hiring and we also won’t turn the right candidate away if we don’t have a seat for them. In the coming year, we will be particularly focused on hiring Technical Recruiters and Account Executives. Because of our plans for continued growth, we are hoping to augment our Recruiting and Account Executive teams with sales-minded individuals. We are particularly interested in candidates who have at least one year of experience in the staffing industry.
What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?
We recently launched our new website, which emphasizes our brand and what it really means to “love your job.” We encourage candidates to explore our site, especially our new employee bio pages, as well as our Glassdoor page so that they can get a real sense of who we are here at Digital Prospectors. Candidates should also make sure to check out us out on social media, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram, where they can really see a “day in the life” of a Digital Prospectors employee.
