  • Credera Company Trip: Every year Credera achieves its financial goals, all employees (including spouses) are invited on an all-expense paid trip to exciting locations like The Bahamas, San Francisco, the Mexican Riviera, New Orleans, and Laguna Beach. The purpose of the company trip is to celebrate our success, build new friendships, deepen old friendships, and have fun! We believe time together as a Credera family is priceless. Memories made during Credera company trips become apart of the DNA of Credera for years to come.
  • Credera Service Day: Credera regularly invests time, talent, and treasure (money) to create a meaningful and lasting impact on our communities. Credera Service Day is one great example. Employees spend the day serving local charities in Dallas, Houston, and Denver multiple times a year. For 2017, Credera has partnered with Habitat for Humanity. Throughout the year, we will have the opportunity to help build several homes for families in need. Credera also participates in multiple events throughout the year that benefit our community including: Sandblast Volleyball Tournament, Brother Bill's Helping Hand, Denver Rescue Mission, Chariots for Children, etc.
  • Frequent, Open Communication: At Credera, we desire to build strong, helpful, high-trust relationships with employees and clients. We believe transparency and open communication is the best vehicle to build trust. For this reason, once a month, Credera’s CEO, Rob Borrego, hosts a company-wide Fireside Chat. During this meeting he openly shares company financials as well as employee and company updates. Mr. Borrego also hosts a State of the Office meeting bi-annually in which he provides more detail on the financial state of the firm and future strategy. During these all-company meetings, no question is off limits.
  • Culture Building Events: Credera has many fun, regularly scheduled company-wide events like our annual Christmas Party, Night at the Ballpark, a management team retreat to the Four Seasons, monthly happy hours, team building events (i.e., cooking competitions, Top Golf tournaments, Escape Room, etc.). Credera also has an annual ping-pong tournament in the office and participates in many sports leagues, including a championship winning soccer team! These are all great opportunities for Crederians to build relationships with one another and have fun together.
  • Emphasis on Employee Growth: Credera has a well developed Mentorship program and Career Performance Review that ensures each employee is equipped to grow in his or her career. Credera has fostered a unique culture of servant leadership and humility. Employees treat each other as family and are always willing to help each other. Senior leaders of the firm are approachable and eager to build into younger employees.
  • Peer Bonus Program: On a monthly basis, employees have the opportunity to nominate a colleague who's gone "above and beyond" to help their peers succeed, deliver outstanding client service, or live out Credera's core values. Employees who are nominated receive a $200 bonus.
  • Annual Performance Bonus: Annual Performance Bonus rewards outstanding performance in all aspects of Credera's Expectations Framework. Employees can receive a bonus of up to 20% their salary, based upon level of performance throughout the year.
  • Referral Bonus: If an employee refers someone to work at Credera, and that person is hired and stays at Credera for at least 90 days, the employee who referred the new hire receives a $1,500 bonus.
  • Great Work Environment: Credera keeps a fully stocked kitchen with drinks, coffee, tea, and healthy snacks for employees. Our office also has a heavily utilized ping-pong table and Wii/Xbox game station.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

Talent and character are what we assess in our interview process.  We look for people that are exceptional at their craft (i.e. software development or project management) that also align with our culture.  To align with our culture, candidates must be high achievers, and they must possess the following attributes: humility, integrity, the ability to navigate healthy conflict, grit (to us, this means passion and perseverance), comfort with ambiguity/adaptability, and emergent leadership.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

We love referrals, so before you apply- review your network and see if you know anyone that already works at Credera that can refer you our way.  If you do not know anyone at Credera, we recommend you do your research and come to the interview process prepared to speak to why a consulting position at Credera is the right next career move for you, or what piqued your interest in us.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

We are looking for senior leaders for our consulting practices.  We prefer to promote from within, but to keep up with our growth goals we need to hire new senior level consultants that can direct projects, develop and nurture new business partnerships, mentor teams, architect innovative solutions, and apply thought leadership to our strategic growth efforts.
