XFINITY 1989 Lip Sync Sessions: Employees lip synced their way to a meet and greet with Taylor Swift and two tickets to her 1989 World Tour by submitting a video of their best Taylor impression. CommTech Jeopardy: Frontline employees battle in a Jeopardy-inspired competition of technical trivia critical to carrying out their jobs.
  • Military Benefits and Programs: Comcast NBCUniversal is committed to being the employer of choice and the chosen provider of services for members of the military community. We offer all Active Military members as well as those in the Reserve, some of the most substantial HR benefits in the industry, including a Military Concierge Service – a single point of contact before, during, and after a military training or deployment; supplemental pay up to three years, and Paid Time Off of up to 15 days for annual Guard and Reserve required training. We’ve pledged to hire 10,000 veterans, National Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses by the end of 2017. Employees are invited to join our veterans employee resource groups, which focus on growing the professional and personal development of veterans and their allies.

Since 2001, the Company has pledged more than $75 million; Big Brothers Big Sisters Beyond School Walls: Comcast hosts the nation’s largest workplace mentoring program in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

Comcast NBCUniversal is looking for dynamic, entrepreneurial, innovative thinkers who are drawn to a collaborative and teamwork-focused culture. We recruit and hire solution-oriented individuals who take initiative, move quickly and execute well. Candidates who think “customer first” – while being business savvy, energetic and solutions oriented – are a great fit. Prospective employees must be curious individuals with a passion to learn, grow their expertise, and stay current on the latest news and information that surrounds the media, technology and television industries. Ideal candidates are agile, quick thinking and bright, while also being adaptable. We are constantly evolving and leading in our industry; prospective employees should anticipate doing the same.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

Prospective employees should be intentional in their job search with Comcast NBCUniversal. They should educate themselves about the needs of our many businesses and find an open role that aligns with their skill set and sensibilities, which piques their interests and passions. While we are always growing our teams, this year we are heavily focused on filling positions within our technology and product teams, customer experience team, retail stores, advertising sales, and discovering strong, change-making, leader-level candidates with experience in financial planning and analysis, business intelligence, big data and advanced advertising expertise, and who have global experience. NBCUniversal is looking for great digital media talent in technology, journalism, content and sales; technology-based talent skilled in everything from backend infrastructure to front-end web and software development; and data scientists with experience in the use of statistical techniques and analytical modeling.
