Perks and Programs

We asked Clickstop, Inc. to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Employee Assistance Program: Our EAP is available to all active employees and their immediate family members. Employees can be full or part-time and are eligible upon their first day of employment. The best way to summarize the EAP program is we are offering counseling services by a professional, qualified organization to our employees. There is no cost to our employees, we pick up the tab. The plan we offer includes unlimited counseling services, which is a rare benefit to be offered by an employer. Along with the counseling services the plan also offers one-half hour free legal advice and 1 hour financial counseling to all employees each year. The plan has been well received and has proven to be a great addition to our benefit plan.
  • Thrive Wellness Program: Clickstoppers can participate in all things wellness through our Thrive program. From physical, nutritional, workplace and financial, employees can participate in wellness related activities year round. We have team events such as Clickstop Winter Olympics - complete with sled and shovel races, and even running competitions. But our wellness program does not end at work. Every month a list of wellness related activities is published. They can be as simple as riding your bike, and as fun as attending a community playhouse show in your hometown. Once completed, employees can turn activities in for a duck (which is sort of our Clickstop currency). At the years end, they can turn them in for prizes, like fitbits, ipods, or just a relaxing day at the water park.
  • Clickstop Cares: Clickstop's 501(c)3 non profit cares for Clickstoppers and those in the area experiencing hardship. Clickstop Cares' mission is to offer help to people in our community that are going through temporary unexpected hardships. Through the program, nominated individuals and families are eligible to receive support through necessities such as clothing, household supplies, school supplies and personal care products. Employees funds that are donated to this program are matched by the company.
  • Profit Sharing: The entire company's performance results in potential profit sharing payout each month. For eligible employees who have been with the company for at least a year, they can earn up to 20% of their salary. Not only that, but the company's non-profit, Clickstop Cares, also gets part of the contribution. Awesome.
  • Birthday & Anniversary Parties: Birthdays, anniversaries, and dress up day's oh my! Clickstop's Celebration Committee works hard to make sure you feel celebrated on your special occasion. Every month the committee writes and passes out birthday and anniversary cards to employees. Once a month the company hosts dress up days to celebrate everyone's special days. Some themes have included; fake an injury day, and dress up like your favorite Disney Character. To top it all off, once a quarter Clickstop hosts a pot luck where employee's bring in signature dishes to share. In addition, this group hosts baby-palooza to celebrate new parents and their brand new babies and puts together bridal showers for upcoming weddings.
  • Clickstop's Annual Retreat: A weekend away. Let that sentence soak in. Now imagine a weekend away with your significant other, free hotel, free food, a big party complete with a band and open bar. Do I have your attention yet? Our CEO Tim and his wife Nicole throw the company that exact party every December. We get together at the Hotel Julien in Dubuque, IA and get to enjoy each others company outside of the office walls. But it isn't just about the party (though we all love it). We also have a meeting to discuss everything Clickstop. From financials and building plans, to new cultural initiatives and big projects in the pipeline. The entire company gets pumped up and excited for the future.
  • Clickstart for Leaders: In 2015 Clickstop developed a leadership training program to help new, current, and someday leaders learn to be the best leader in their own individual way. We created a frame work that facilitates research, interviews, application, and reflection to build a leadership style that is individual to every person and allows a leaders strength's to shine through. Our goal is for leaders to become exceptional in areas where they are talented and draw help from teammates in areas which they are unsure or week.
  • No Dress Code: Be who you are, and come as you are. Definitely lose the tie and hose, we have no use for them here. At Clickstop we believe you do your best work when you are comfortable. Walking through our office you will see individuals personality shine through with how they choose to dress. What is better than working at a place that encourages you to be you? Cheers to not having a dress code!
  • Onboarding: The Clickstop Way: Could we stick our new hires in a conference room and show them videos to explain our culture and our company? Of course. But wouldn't it be more beneficial to have new team members out building relationships and experiencing our culture first hand? We think so! An employee's first week consists of a program called Clickstart. Clickstart is a self driven, career accelerator program that helps new hires get up to speed as quickly as possible. It has been carefully crafted to help new team members set out and interview other Clickstoppers and learn exactly what all the fuss is about! Armed with the knowledge new hires learn from Clickstart, new hires are set up for success and to make a great impact here.
  • Free Fruit All Day, Every Day: We're committed to the well being of our team and because of that decided to provide our team with tasty season fruits at no cost. We're committed to helping make great health choices a little easier. As a Clickstopper, you're provided unlimited FREE snacking rights on all fruits throughout the day. You'll find a variety of seasonal, mostly organic fruits at the campus Bistro and throughout our common spaces and meeting rooms. Boo-yah!

      How to Get Hired

We asked Clickstop, Inc. for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

We seek teammates who have proven they're capable of and inspired by building a sustainable, high growth workplace that is enjoyable and provides opportunity for others. We hire teammates who are inspired by challenges; those who are preparing for what's next - even if it's not clearly in front of them yet. We seek out people who do the right thing for because of their values, not because someone told them to or because of rules or policies. Our team is filled with purpose-driven teams who hold themselves to a high standard.  We are focused intensely on what could go right with people and love hiring those who will bet on their teammates and hold each other up in challenges and in celebration. We love when candidates wow us with their authenticity, humility, will to succeed and show us how they are a great individual performer and exceptional teammate.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

Wow us with your passion for people and drive for business performance. We love it when candidates can clearly and authentically articulate how the way they work (in alignment with our values and the behaviors described on our website) drives great results. We hire people who eagerly tackle the impossible and use every opportunity to build up others.  Candidates who share a strong purpose and connect their dreams to our culture. We are wowed by those who humbly share their accomplishments and their shortcomings. Help us understand how the way you work aligns with each of our individual values. We're always looking for a new way to accomplish old work -  impress us with your innovation of the ordinary.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

Over the next year, Clickstop plans to create many new jobs and we are focused on hiring those that not only fit the current needs of our organization but those that will fit into our organization years from now as we grow and change. We often joke that years here are like dog years - and we must hire people that will embrace and drive change at that pace. As we expand our manufacturing capacity and production, campus, and we innovate our approach to business we need people that get excited about what's to come but never lose focus on excellence now.

What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?

We filmed a documentary about our values titled, "Thinking Big." We'd highly recommend watching this and spending some time learning about our Core Values and the Clickstop Code. You can catch a peek into life at Clickstop on our Facebook page ( and laugh with us (maybe even at us) on our YouTube channel ( Get clear on your purpose. Working at Clickstop can be life changing if you let it. We strongly recommend you reflect on who you are and what you want to accomplish so we can come alongside you as you build an incredible career.  Apply on our website at or give us a call.
