Perks and Programs

We asked CHG Healthcare Services, Inc. to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • On-site health clinic: Part of CHG's health and wellness program, the medical providers at CHG's onsite health centers are available to employees and their families for primary or acute (non-emergency) care, including lab work. Office visits are free to all employees and their dependents — whether or not they are enrolled in CHG’s medical plan — and employees do not need to use PTO for appointments.
  • Health insurance discount: CHG rewards employees for making healthy lifestyle choices with a healthcare premium discount. To receive this discount, employees need to complete designated wellness activities that include a Rock Your Body challenge, lunch and learns, and free onsite health screenings.
  • Volunteer time off: CHG employees are given eight hours of company-paid volunteer time off each year to volunteer for a non-profit organization of their choice. Last year, employees used more than 4,000 hours to give back in the community.
  • Fun Room: Whether it’s shooting pool, playing a game of shuffle board, throwing darts or challenging a co-worker to a game of pinball, CHG employees have a space to let loose and enjoy downtime with friends. Other features of the Fun Room include a ping pong table, arcade games, TVs and a Foosball table.
  • Tuition assistance: Part of CHG's core value of Continuous Improvement, the company supports employees' growth and development through its tuition assistance program. Employees can apply for tax-free assistance for any certification or degree program after six months of employment, with reimbursement amounts ranging from $1,000 for new employees and up to $5,250 for more tenured employees.
  • Difference Makers award: Employees nominate peers who are extremely active in community service. Four winners are then chosen to join the CEO on a company-sponsored humanitarian trip. This year's trip was to Kenya where the group helped build a school for boys.
  • Employee Compassion Fund: CHG employees can donate to a fund that provides tax-free financial grants to employees facing financial hardships. Last year, the fund provided 20 tax-free grants, totaling more than $25,000, to employees in need.
  • Putting People First award: Employees nominate peers who live CHG's core value of Putting People First by going above and beyond for their coworkers. Each month, six winners are chosen to receive $100 gift card and a Putting People First pullover, along with a chance to attend the company's annual President's Club. Past President's Club destinations have included Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico.
