  • Unusually Generous Benefits: In addition to Chaparral House paying some of the highest wages in the area, our benefits program is very generous. Chaparral House pays 100% of premiums for all Regular Full-Time Employees for a Kaiser Platinum medical insurance program, for Delta Dental Premier dental insurance, and provides each employee a $25,000 life insurance policy at no cost. Regular Part-Time Employees receive prorated premium support for each of the above coverages based on the number of hours per week they work.
  • Work / Life Balance: Chaparral House believes that work / life balance is important and provides Regular Full-Time Employees the following annual Paid-Time-Off: Holidays – 8 fixed holidays and 2 floating holidays (Birthday & Anniversary) Sick Time – 12 days per year Vacation – 10 days per year for years 1-5; 15 days per year for years 6-10; 20 days per year for years 11-15; and 25 days per year after 15 years. Regular Part-Time Employees receive prorated Paid-Time-Off based on the number of hours per week they work. What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

We seek prospective employees who demonstrate not only the education, experience, and in many cases license or certification needed for specific positions but also demonstrate a sense of compassion for and dedication to caring for elders.  We also try to identify propsective employees who are seeking personal as well as team growth in their chosen field. 

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

Beyond participating in the usual hiring process we respond well to propsective employees who visit and tour our facility, and perhaps even meet the manager of the department they are seeking to work in.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

We need RNs, LVNs, and CNAs, as well as support staff in Dietary and Environmental Services,  that are looking for a strong compensation package along with a highly supportive team of co-workers.
