What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
Byron cares deeply about our team members and carefully select new team members. Our focus in finding the right cultural fit for our community is based on our core values – communication, compassion, respect, integrity, commitment, and passion. This is done by behavioral interviews and workplace assessments.Behavioral interviews provide us with information regarding job-related qualities that go along with our company core values. The workplace assessment includes personal value cards, personality profile, and an emotional intelligence quiz. In doing the workplace assessment tests we are trying to better understand their strengths and if they are suitable for the role in which they have applied. We feel if the interview and workplace assessments indicate the behavioral traits in our core values, there is a greater chance for successful and meaningful employment for them.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
A candidate that understands what we do and who we serve. We want our team to be engaged and have a passion for serving. We are looking for someone who shows stability in their work history, excitement for what they do and a love for serving others.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
Our focus will be to develop and retain the existing team members as well as finding exceptional external candidates.
