We asked Autosoft, Inc. to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Committees: Autosoft has several committees that employees can join to further their involvement in the company. These committees include the A-Team (activity team) that organizes activities for both during and outside of work time, the Wellness Committee that focuses on employee health and wellness, Autosoft Cares that reaches out to the community, and the Safety Team that brings attention to employee safety in the workplace.
  • VTO: Autosoft gives all full-time employees 8 paid volunteer time off hours that they can use over the course of 12 months. These hours are used for volunteer opportunities throughout their local communities.
  • Funcart Fridays: On the last Friday of every month, Autosoft brings out the Fun Cart which is loaded with beverages, including beer/pre-mixed drinks and snacks. The Fun Cart is also brought out on special occasions, like the Summer picnic and various special days throughout the year.
  • Employee Feedback: Autosoft knows feedback from employees is invaluable in making it of the greatest places to work. Autosoft utilize a third party program, Officevibe, that allows employees to provide feedback at any time. This feedback is taken seriously and often replied to by upper management including our President and HR Director.
  • Employee Recognition: Autosoft allows both employees and managers to recognize employees through a third party program, Bonusly. Employees are awarded points that can be redeemed for gift cards, charity donations, Autosoft Apparel, and PTO hours.
  • Tuition Reimbursement: Tuition Reimbursement is a benefit that Autosoft adopted in 2016 as a result of employee feedback on Officevibe. Our tuition reimbursement programs allow employees to be reimbursed for continuing their education through college courses, certifications, and professional conferences.
  • Paid Parental Leave: A new benefit for 2017, Paid Parental Leave gives eligible employees 80 hours of paid leave when they become a new parent.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

We look for specific characteristics to make sure prospective employees are a cultural fit. One is the ability to adapt, we are a team-oriented cultural with collaboration amongst different departments so we look for someone that is able to work with a variety of teams. Another characteristic is someone that is innovative. We are always improving processes and are very opened to change, we want someone that is able to make an impact and contribute to our dynamic culture. 

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

We take a lot of pride in our culture, so someone who has an outgoing personality that is enthusiastic will be a great fit. Also,  A candidate that has  done their research and has an understanding of our business, product, customers, and competitors will definitely get our attention

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

As we continue to grow, we are always looking for top talent. Within the coming year, we will be looking to expand multiple departments with a focus on Software Developers, Sales professionals, and Customer Support  Specialists.
