  • Impacting our world: We've been ranked the top community-minded communications company by The Civic 50. In 2017, employees volunteered nearly 1.8 million hours of their time to important causes. This year, an astonishing 4,386 employees received the President’s Volunteer Service Award. Our It Can Wait movement seeks to end distracted driving and invites employees to take steps to improve our world. AT&T Aspire, our education initiative, partners with organizations such as Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Girls Who Code, to help shape the ways technology is altering education. Since 2012, our employees have provided more than 2.7 million hours of mentoring to more than 350,000 underserved students.
  • Protecting our world: Environmental sustainability matters. We’re using the power of our network and our people to build a better tomorrow. We purchased 820 megawatts of wind power, one of the largest corporate renewable energy purchases in the U.S. It’s a key component of our 10x Carbon Reduction Goal to enable carbon savings 10x the footprint of our operations by 2025. We reduced fleet emissions by 174,403 metric tons of CO2e and reduced the size of our domestic fleet by more than 1,100 vehicles and refurbished or recycled approximately 146 million devices. FirstNet gives first responders nationwide a groundbreaking new choice to access fast, highly secure and reliable communications whenever and wherever they need them. As an Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Cities leader, we're helping cities address the issues facing their communities with remote monitoring and more efficient operations solutions.
  • Stay connected with discounts: Our employees are offered fantastic discounts from the company and key business associates. Employees get 50% off their wireless rate plan, including data, voice and text for all lines of service on up to two accounts. They also receive 50% off select accessories and specialty items, waived upgrade and activation fees, and waived credit deposits for up to four lines.
