What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?
We don’t just have a list of top 10 Best & Brightest Characteristics all employees must possess. Our “top 10” goes to 11! To reach their greatest potential at Assurance, employees must be accountable, ambitious, caring, ethical, flexible, participative, positive, proactive, responsive, smart and understanding. ‘A’ Team members who exhibit these traits, no matter their position in the organization, are well equipped to advance our vision and benefit most from everything Assurance offers. However, we understand that not every Assurance rock star is going to ace every one of these characteristics. Our own CEO is the first to admit he needs work on some of these. So we’re flexible! The desire to perfect all 11 is an excellent indicator for Assurance success.
What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
Like our current employees, our best candidates are ambitious and proactive. If you’re looking to get hired at Assurance, do your research! Knowing why you chose Assurance and how you’d be an asset to our ‘A’ Team goes a long way. So does being yourself. While we hire for technical job skills, attitude and culture fit are weighted a bit heavier because we can always teach the former. Simply put, we love candidates who naturally share our passion for minimizing risk and maximizing health and can speak to the great workplace culture we’ve created.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
The professional opportunities available at Assurance are continually evolving, and we’re consistently seeking passionate candidates to join our team. We’re expanding both our Chicagoland offices and opening offices in new states so we literally have room to grow. As Assurance continues growing, we’re specifically looking for career-minded, experienced insurance professionals for service and sales roles.
