What can prospective employees do to get your attention?
Our recruiters look for candidates who demonstrate key soft skills during the preliminary screening, testing and interview phase. Use your resume and cover letter to showcase your collaborative nature, flexibility and interpersonal communication skills. Those are the items that set great candidates apart from those who just meet the basic requirements of the position. The key is showing how you’ve used these soft skills to succeed in your career rather than just stating them. How have you collaborated in previous positions to meet Customer needs? How were you flexible in dealing with change?
Since we have a highly collaborative environment, our hiring process typically includes a team interview, where the whole team may be involved. This gives both the team and the candidates a chance to see how they will fit and if they will be able to work as a team.
Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?
While we have a variety of positions open at any time, some of the positions where we expect the most growth are sales and IT.
We hire account managers nationwide to consult with Customers about their benefits options. These Colleagues earn salary plus commissions and work with an established worksite Customer base of either education or a combination of health care providers, municipalities and auto dealers.
There are always new technologies and new consumer expectations. IT has to deliver faster than ever, and the technology will change at an exponentially faster rate. We look for candidates who fit our culture and have a passion for technology. People choose technology as a career path because they love it – they live and breathe technology. We want the candidates who love what they do. Our IT team plans to hire software developers, database developers, data analysts/business intelligence and technical infrastructure specialists.
