  • Flexible Work Schedule: AES recognzies that we must be flexible to respond to both our customer's and employee's needs. Therefore, we provide employees with an alternative to the traditional 9 to 5 work schedule by allowing them to vary their arrival and/or departure times to best fit their needs.
  • Contribution Matching: AES is extremely supportive of our local community and organizations. We encourage our employees to partake in community events by volunteering. When an employee donates to a charitable organization, we match 50% of that donation up to $250 annually.
  • Company Performance Bonus: AES enjoys giving back to employees. We recognize and appreciate the contributions that each individual makes daily in order for us to succeed each year. So, at the end of each fiscal year, we reward our employees with a bonus based on the performance of the company. If we met or exceeded our annual sales & production goals, we give everyone a bonus based on how well we did.
  • Paid Time Off & Holidays: AES is a large advocate of the work-life balance and allowing employees to be able to take time off from work for holidays, parent teacher conferences, vacation, snow days, and other times. If employees dedicate themselves to our company, with time, they can earn up to 24 days of paid time off to use as they please, along with 11 recognized holidays.
  • Employee Wellness Program: AES encourages employee wellness for a healthy lifestyle by assisting with gym membership fees with minimum attendance requirements, providing an annual employee health fair that provides free screenings to the employee including BP, glucose, cholesterol, and flu shots.
  • Employee Recognition: Quarterly employees nominate their peers for the Shining Star award. Recipients receive company paid gift cards. Service anniversary pins and certificates are given at our annual Christmas luncheon.
  • PTO Bank: Employees are allowed to donate paid time off to a bank for other employees who may suffer from severe illness or injury and exhaust all of their paid time off.
  • Company Provided Gifts: Throughout the year for varying events such as Breast Cancer Awareness, community day, March of Dimes, and at employee request for specific styles provide t-shirts and sweatshirts. During the company provided Christmas luncheon, we provide 3 various gifts given to each employee such as umbrellas, tumblers, hats, pens, etc. We also give out raffle tickets to every employee for them to select a gift under the tree and unwrap it for them to have which may be a TV, iPad, Bath & Body, gift cards, tool sets, coolers, etc.

      What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

      AES searches for candidates who have characteristics such as a mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and flexibility. We are such a customer-oriented company, focused on the best possible customer service, that we search for those who possess strong customer service skills. We also look for people who have the drive and motivation to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of our customers on a daily basis. Individuals that work well in a fast-paced, upbeat, and productive environment is key. 

      What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

      Prospective employees wanting to gain the attention of our Human Resources team should be sure to have a resume that is easy to follow and has correct grammar and spelling throughout. Individuals with experience in the field that they are applying will be those first considered. Education is also key in being able to meet the requirements of some of our more technical positions. Once selected for an interview, individuals should educate themselves on our company prior to being interviewed. Propspective employees should also be prepared to ask questions for the employer on why AES is a Great Place to Work and present themself positively in the interview. Those that possess a "whatever it takes" and "I will give 150% daily in all that I do" attitude are also great characteristics that will get the attention of our team.

      In the next year, we plan to hire at least two senior electronic repair technicians, eleven assembly technicians, one project coordinator, one sales assistant, one account manager, one customer service representive, one shipping clerk, one field service technician.
