Perks and Programs

We asked Acxiom Corporation to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • Giving Back With Acxiom Cares: With our generous giving and volunteer program, we activate our associates’ time, talent, and passion to make impactful change in our communities. Every full-time associate receives 40 hours of annual paid leave to volunteer for causes they’re passionate about. Through Acxiom Cares, we match our associates’ nonprofit donations dollar for dollar and donate $20 for every hour our employees spend volunteering at nonprofit STEAM organizations.
  • Generous Pet Insurance Savings: Our pets are family too! We offer an automatic 5% discount on our associates’ pet insurance, with an additional 5% off when enrolling multiple pets (up to three). For associates with large furry families of four or more pets, Acxiom will provide an additional 10% discount.
  • Military Leave Differential Program: We salute our military by actively hiring veterans and supporting associates as they fulfill their military obligations. As one act of support, we provide the difference in pay between the employee’s military salary and Acxiom pay. This enables associates to take care of their military obligations outside Acxiom without any worry of the financial impact to them or their families.
  • Compassion Leave Program: We all win when the team wins, which also means that we all hurt when one of our own is hurting. Acxiom’s Compassion Leave Program gives employees up to 240 additional paid hours to deal with a personal or family medical crisis. Associates may donate up to 16 hours of their paid days off to assist other employees in their time of need. These donated hours are then placed in the donation bank.
  • Personal Holidays: In addition to our nine standard holidays, we also provide two personal holidays that associates can use at any time of the year. Associates may take a personal holiday to celebrate a birthday, take time off for their child’s first day of school, enjoy a mental health day, or catch a game on Major League Baseball’s opening day.
  • Dedicated Engagement Committees: All of our global locations have a dedicated engagement committee led by an HR Senior Leader, Facilities Manager, and Business Leader. These teams partner with associates from their respective locations to brainstorm and create fun, exciting events for the office. The result: unique happy hours, pottery classes, sporting events, and other opportunities to connect with peers outside of the office.
  • Extended Parental Leave: Our flexible leave program supports new parents as they navigate the unique joys and challenges that come with the birth of a child. Mothers receive full pay for the first 12 weeks of leave for the birth of their child, and caregivers receive pay for the first eight weeks of leave, as long as you have worked for Acxiom for 90 days and work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • Education Assistance Program: We make it a priority to develop our associates and help them reach their full potential. To encourage employees to continue their education outside of work hours, we reimburse expenses related to coursework for an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, as long as the course is relevant to the associate’s current job role or aligned with Acxiom’s business needs.
  • Fitness Reimbursement Program: At Acxiom, it pays to stay fit—literally! Associates who don’t have access to an onsite gym can get reimbursed up for 50% (up to $100/month) of their healthy living expenses. Gym memberships, fitness centers, yoga classes, and more are all covered by the Fitness Reimbursement Program.
  • Adoption Assistance Plan: We reimburse a maximum of $2,500 in adoption-related expenses to help ease the financial burden for employees who are choosing to grow their families in this unique way. To be eligible, associates must be full-time workers who have been with the company for a minimum of one year. The plan provides benefits for up to two adoptions per associate.

How to Get Hired

We asked Acxiom Corporation for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

We look for candidates who are authentic and transparent in the way they speak, act, and make decisions. They collaborate fearlessly and want to contribute to the team. We appreciate candidates who can take smart risks to explore new opportunities. Because we want to push ourselves to always get better and never settle for the status quo, we in turn expect our candidates to have that same vest for continuous learning and improvement. Our candidates need to be biased toward action—we value results, so we’re always wanting to make an impact. We also truly value diversity of thought and experience—someone who will be able to add to our culture, not just fit within it. If you fit the above-mentioned characteristics, you will embody Acxiom’s values.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

Show us that you did your research! Ask questions relevant to our industry and demonstrate that you understand the digital ecosystem. When you interview with us, describe how your unique skillset will align with our mission and vision and ultimately accelerate our business. We want to know that you’re excited to join the team. Spotlight how your innovative thoughts and ideas will drive change.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

We are actively hiring savvy salespeople, digital data gurus with industry knowledge, and technical experts (developers, testers, and architects) to support our impressive client roster from around the world. In addition, we’re looking for financial talent to support our internal business operations. New grad hiring typically takes place during university season (from late August until March), but we are always hiring software engineers and digital sales talent.

What should interested candidates do to find out more and get started?

Check out our website to learn more about open roles and apply online! Unlike a ton of other companies, we pride ourselves on responding to a very high number of applicants, so you’ll often get a timely response from one of our hiring staff.
