Using custom Corporate Care cards we arrange personalized gift packages such as a Spoonful of Care or home-delivered meals for get-well sentiments, Tiffany bowls or candlesticks for our newlyweds, special donations, flowers or trees planted for sympathy events and the infamous Acumen baby onesie, teething necklace and Mommy treats for our newborns! The Employee Milestone Program is our way of sharing in key life events of our Acumen family members. The program creates a stronger connection to employees, as the Corporate Care team get to know employee interests and likes, which help in designing custom gifts and services. Connecting with employees around these personal events reinforces that "Our People Matter" all the time - both at work and at home.
  • Impact through Giving Back: Acumen Solutions believes in giving back in the communities where our employees live and work. Making a sustainable impact is integral to our philosophy, culture, and spirit. Our diverse initiatives provide employees with dynamic opportunities like pro bono projects to address business needs of local nonprofit organizations; quarterly service activities that align with employee interests; and holiday drives for local needs. Global Service Week engages all company locations volunteering with community charities to serve a common cause. The Board Leadership Program trains and places senior leaders on nonprofit boards of their choosing. The Technology Center's 24-hour gaming fundraiser has grown annually in participation and funds raised for children in local hospitals. The Peer Award program encourages peer-to-peer accolades for support outside of an employee's role or schedule. These thank yous are issued through Amazon gift cards. Employee Recognition Awards are distributed publicly at corporate quarterly All Hands Meetings, for individual and team outstanding performance. These superstars receive American Express gift cards for their valued achievements. Spot Awards are custom and initiated by senior leadership to reward performance above & beyond and involve significant contributions. The company has paid bonuses annually since our inception. All full-time employees in good standing receive a year-end bonus - values are determined by company profit, employee level, tenure and annual performance rating.
  • Benefits that Enrich: Employees benefit from a generous paid time off benefit starting with 4 weeks paid time off, up to Flex Paid Time Off for Managers and Above roles. In addition, full-time employees receive 8 corporate holidays, a personal day and a birthday holiday. In support of Acumen Solutions employees and their families, all employees with at least one year of service are eligible for two weeks of paid leave for the birth, adoption, or foster placement of a child. The hope is that this will allow both mothers and fathers the opportunity to bond with their families during a very exciting time. Employees who have not yet completed a full year with the company continue to qualify for statutory benefits per the Maternity and Paternity policies.   • Happy Anniversary: Our annual 5 & 10 Year Anniversary Events are special gatherings to celebrate employees with five and ten years with the company.   • Pay It Forward: Who doesn't love delivering a random act of kindness! Acumen Solutions employees use financial grants from the company to execute designed acts in their communities. It's a win-win for both the giver and receiver. Employee efforts range from free meals for homeless and law enforcement officers, cookies for firefighters, daily supplies to those impacted by California fires, medications and health needs purchased for low income elderly, paying for youth activities in a trampoline park, purchasing gas to fill a family in need's car, supply packages to inner-city school programs and so many more!   • Investing in Employees: A priority component of Acumen Solution's Corporate Learning is boot camps. We hold several 3-week learning experiences that teach new hires information needed to be successful as a consultant with the company. While we teach cloud technology and the company’s delivery methodology, the emphasis throughout the experience is introducing new hires to the company’s culture. They learn our collaborative approach, focus on delivery excellence and appreciation for strong emotional intelligence and relationship management. Boot camps are held for developers (both entry level and seasoned), business analysts (both entry level and seasoned) as well as architects. One of the many ways the company invests in employee development and is able to demonstrate the competencies of our consultants is through our certification program. Employees are encouraged to earn certifications in our partner technology as well as popular credentials for key roles like Agile Scrum Master and PMP.
  • Connecting with Colleagues: Outreach to Acumen Solutions' employees occurs on several levels, starting with the President & CEO. The open-door philosophy has been in place since Day 1. Employees are encouraged to take advantage of engaging with Executive level and other senior leaders to share innovative and business development ideas. The new Headquarters office space is an open concept designed to further encourage this collaborative approach and atmosphere. Other executives and internal department's outreach include custom congratulatory cards for promotions and accomplishments. The Corporate Care Department and Consulting Delivery Team members visit client-based project teams for monthly lunches to help maintain employees' connections with the company, as well as to gather feedback from employees. Remote employees receive periodic mailings of custom gifts and check-in communications to aid in their company engagement. The best prospective employees have a passion for solving challenging problems and delivering success. They are people who are flexible; open to playing different roles and can adapt to different client environments. They work well as an individual contributor but excel within team constructs. They navigate complex work environments, understand and care about how their actions impact others, possess a high level of personal integrity and are passionate about socially responsible causes. They are curious, life-long learners who are self-proclaimed technology geeks with an ability to connect and communicate with anyone.
