Perks and Programs

We asked Accounting Principals, Inc. to share a few programs they feel really capture what's unique about their workplace. Here is what they had to say.

  • All Stars: In 2016, we rewarded 133 of our top colleagues and their guests with an all-expense paid trip to The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Cancun, Mexico. During the 3 day trip, attendees enjoyed the beautiful beaches and on-site pools and relaxed with their choice of a spa, golf, or an excursion. The event culminated with a grand gala awards celebration.
  • A Day of Service: We are a company with a heart! Colleagues are given an additional PTO day to support the organization of their choice. Many teams use philanthropic events to build camaraderie and a sense of pride in their local communities.
  • Win 4 Youth: This annual program raises money for various children's organizations around the world by translating miles into dollars. In 2016, from the 32,000 global employees, 3 of our own were selected to represent Accounting Principals USA in the Oceanlava Triathlon in Lanzarote, Spain on October 16, 2016. All employees across the country log miles on our mobile app throughout the year, accounting for the miles they swim, bike and run.
  • Work Anniversaries: We believe every year with us is special, that's why we recognize every anniversary! Our colleagues receive a keepsake personalized with comments from their manager and peers with a special gift of their choice.
  • Training: Our pre-hire surveys tell us new hires want professional and technical skill development. Our experiential training camps leverage subject matter experts who help our employees grow their careers from entry level recruiter positions to senior leadership.
  • Virtual Doctor Visits: Who has time to wait at the doctor's office? Our telehealth service saves colleagues time, stress, and money with the ability to talk face-to-face with physicians on their mobile devices. Physicians review history, answer questions, diagnose, treat and even prescribe medication. Prescriptions are sent to the pharmacy of choice.
  • Wellness Reimbursement: Each quarter employees can be reimbursed for healthy lifestyle choices including, but not limited to weight loss programs, fitness memberships and classes, smoking cessation and race entry fees.

How to Get Hired

We asked Accounting Principals, Inc. for some inside information on how to get hired at the organization. Here is what they had to say.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

We are proud that our teams are positive, collaborative, prepared, and eager to learn, and we look for these same qualities in a prospective new employee. As specialty recruiters ourselves, we look for the qualities that make each person stand out as a professional and as a person—we appreciate individuality. Our teams define success as helping others succeed. A great candidate is someone looking for a career that's equal parts challenging and rewarding and wants to work with people who are passionate about what they do.  At Accounting Principals, we feel that the employee makes the company, and great hires energize and inspire their team members.

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

We look for a great blend of team spirit and entrepreneurship. We want our employees to share and celebrate with their teams and help each other thrive both personally and professionally. We look for future talent that has a strong commitment to the success of the team. We provide our team members the flexibility to work the way that works best for them. A great candidate will be open to uncovering opportunities and taking risk, and a great team member will own the results, learn quickly and inspire others. We always look for professionalism – if you come prepared for an interview with a tailored resume, a positive attitude, and a personal experience to share that showcases your talents and team spirit, you will stand out. At Accounting Principals, we feel that the employee makes the company, and great hires energize and inspire their team members.

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

Through our Superhuman strategy we are looking to expand our recruiting and business development teams across the country, and are seeking motivated Executive Recruiters, Staffing Managers and Business Development Managers. We look for employees who want to learn and grow their career.
