  • ROWE: ROWE stands for Results-Only Work Environment. This gives 97th Floor 100% accountability from all employees. Meaning, your job isn't dependent on the number of hours you put in, it's based on the results you achieve. In the end, it is the employee who achieves the best results that is recognized and rewarded, regardless of how many hours he or she has spent in the office. This also gives employees the flexibility to work wherever they want, whenever they want. Our employees have utilized this by spending the afternoon with their kids, and then working in the evening. Or by traveling all over the world, and connecting from wherever they are at.
  • 97th Floor Library: 97th Floor has a library of books available for employees to borrow and read. If there is a specific book that an employee is interested in reading, then 97th Floor will add that to the library for them.
  • Speaking at Conferences: If an employee is interested and then selected to speak at a conference, 97th Floor will cover the travel expenses for that.
  • 100% paid Health and Dental Insurance: 97th Floor covers 100% of the premium for Health and Dental insurance for employees. They also cover 50% of the premium for dependents.

      What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

      Intelligence, work ethic, passion for their craft and the industry, curiosity, competitiveness, non-complacency, creativity, willingness to try new things and fail.

      What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

      The best way prospective employees can get our attention is through their accomplishments. Rather than focusing solely on diplomas, we look at what potential employees have done to improve companies they've built or have worked for in the past. The top attributes we look for are the desire and the ability to learn. On paper, learning seems easy, but we look for people who, when presented with new and unfamiliar challenges, aren't afraid to invent and test new solutions. Second we try to find people with an internal locus of control, or someone who believes they're in control of outcomes as opposed to blaming outside forces for shortcomings. Finally, we look for people who are intrinsically motivated to do what they love.   Those three qualities are a knock-out combination every time. Someone with those characteristics are bound to have accomplished something great prior to an interview.
