  • One by One: Each business day 4imprint gives three worthy organizations $500 each in promotional products to spread the word, recruit volunteers, thank donors, or offer comfort to someone in need. In 2017, we awarded a total of 827 grants to non-for-profit organizations, totaling almost $431,500. One by one is 4imprint’s way of giving back to help make the world a better place. It’s a program that reflects 4imprint’s culture, philosophy, and ethical commitment.
  • PTO 3 Volunteer Time: 4imprint offers all associates eight hours of paid time off to volunteer for organizations of their choice, including onsite volunteer opportunities throughout the year that are coordinated by our charity committee. Associates who volunteered receive various incentives (t-shirts, prizes, PTO time, etc.) to encourage more participation.
  • Health & Wellness: Our on-site health and wellness services include a Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Nurse, Physical Therapist, Wellness Specialist, Chiropractor, and Massage Therapist with regular office hours. We also offer a number of work-out classes like Yoga, Pilates, Butts and Guts, Barre, Muscle Conditioning, and Fit Camp. Initially offered over the lunch hour, these exercise classes have become so popular with our associates that we started offering more classes and extended the work-out hours. Other wellness initiatives include reduced fees for healthy lunches, healthy vending machine snacks like grapes & cheese, free health risk assessments, wellness reimbursement for work-out classes and towards gym memberships. We also reimburse up to $100 for safety shoes for our distribution center team whose work responsibilities necessitates usage.
  • Events & Celebrations: 4imprint loves to celebrate! Each year, we hold an associate appreciation party for all associates. 4imprint provides the food, DJ, casino-style gambling, hundreds of prizes, henna tattoos, and a photo/video booth. Our Fun Committee organizes a variety of events throughout the year, such as benefits, volunteer and college fairs, Corporate Cup at the YMCA, pumpkin picking at a local petting zoo, holiday parade floats, company summer picnic, department pig-outs and the 4imprint Associate Night at Waterfest, a local outdoor music festival.
  • Training & Development: At 4imprint, we strongly support a lifetime of learning. The training team has such a passion for learning and tries to instill that passion in our associates by offering as many training opportunities and classes as possible. Throughout the year, we offer over 200 training classes in personal and professional development, business skills, world cultures, legal and financial topics. We also offer regular lunch’n learns led by team members, book discussions for the leadership team, leadership roundtable discussions, tuition reimbursement as well as job shadowing and paid internships.
  • Yammer: In 2016, we introduced our new company-wide social network called Yammer after using Socialcast for a number of years. Similar to Facebook, our associates can now follow each other, post statuses and announcements, and join a number of different groups. With over 40 groups to choose from, associates can connect with other associates based on their personal and professional interests and stay up-to-date with what’s going on at 4imprint.
  • Donated PTO Time: Occasionally associates need to cope with unexpected catastrophic situations but lack enough paid time off to meet their needs. In order to assist associates suffering personal hardship, we have established a “Donate PTO Time” program that allows associates to donate a portion of their accumulated paid time off to assist an associate who is in need. The identity of all donors shall remain confidential and the recipient shall not be advised of the identity of the donors. The identity of those receiving the donated PTO will be held in confidence, except with those on a need-to-know basis strictly for business purposes.
  • Welcoming: We want associates to know immediately they’ve made the right decision by joining the 4imprint family. Our on-boarding process involves an extensive welcome package (including our famous Blue Box) and two-to-three day orientations in which our new associates learn about our company history, customer service philosophy, industry and company culture.
  • Associate Pictures & Videos: When you look at our printed catalogs and flyers, as well as the videos on our YouTube channel, you will see our own associates featured in all of our materials. Associates are paid a small stipend when they model for pictures or participate in a video or voice recordings. Since we rarely take ourselves too seriously, we would recommend you watch our blooper videos on YouTube for some good laughs and a chance to get to know our associates a little better. Our customers love to see the faces of the people they work with as this helps building a stronger connection.
  • Puppy Day: Puppy Day is probably one of the most anticipated days of the year. Once a year, the local animal shelter comes and brings in puppies and dogs that are available for adoption. As you can imagine, everyone wants to play with and pet the puppies, and there are long lines to get into the room. This year, we even had a TV crew from a local news station film the event, which thankfully also resulted in all puppies finding their “forever homes,” one with a 4imprint family.

What key characteristics tell you a prospective employee will be a great fit for your company?

Overall we are looking for a candidate who fits in our culture, is friendly and enthusiastic about the position, and has some prior relevant experience. Those characteristics go a long way in determining if there is a mutual interest in a position. We want potential associates to feel great and be excited about working at 4imprint! 4imprint’s process is to first scan the resume for qualifications that match the requirements of the job. The HR staff takes special note of anyone who seems to go above and beyond in their resume/cover letter. Above all, 4imprint looks for friendly, conscientious and caring employees who will be a great fit for the culture already present in our company. 

What can prospective employees do to get your attention?

We like to see candidates put a lot of effort into their application process. We love when we get a well-thought out cover letter followed by a nicely formatted resume! Once we have scheduled a phone interview, it’s always a plus when candidates know something about 4imprint and the position they are applying for as well. We have been known to call a candidate who may not be as qualified but has made an effort to stand out and show their enthusiasm! Also, at times candidates can make themselves stand out with their remarkable personality. There have been occasions that a candidate did not sell themselves on paper, but managed to get a call for an interview after the candidate called 4imprint to inquire about the status of their application, and they were able to convey their personality and passion for the job via that follow-up call. 

Are there any positions or types of candidates you are particularly focused on hiring in this coming year?

Our open positions are always changing, but our main areas of focus will tend to be customer service representatives, accounting roles, and embroidery operators. Most of our openings will be for full-time positions. Regardless of the position, 4imprint strives to find candidates who are a fitting match with the team that is currently in place, and individuals we feel would add something special and unique to our company.
